I will need to test with different settings, mix of FFB Boost from the display and FFB from the game, because if i lower the Overall Strength, it's slow with following the car.Īlso the wheel is with Hybrid Drive, like the T150, which was known to have issues with drifting, but it's with 70% more Torque and that's why i bought it, because it's almost as much as the T300. Will need to test how much temperature it will hold. The downside is that you will need to fight the force feedback, which will result the wheel to get to 70+ degrees, but honestly until now i didn't had problems with overheating even at 70+, the wheel performance was the same. Now the steering wheel actually follows the car movement and steering angle, so you will have way more control. The force feedback will be stronger, a looot stronger, so be carefull, it can hurt fingers. In Accetto Corsa, turn all the settings off and set the Gain to 100% also make a LUT and set it in the content manager. Also after the Wheel Base Firmware Update, you will have in the Display Options on the wheels it self, not only to boost FFB in 3 settings, but also to change Overall Strength FFB, i think it's on 20% steps, from 0% to 100%.įrom my Experience i set the boost setting on, turned off Spring and Damper and set to 100% Overall FFB Strength. īy default, the setting is OFF, so you need to switch it ON. It's in the Properties > Gain Settings > Boost (Constant + Spring). So after you are done with all of that, you should have a new option in your wheel Control Panel. After that, Update the wheel base from the Firmware Update tool and you are good to go. I think it asked you to reboot one more time after that. After the PC boots to windows, install the drivers and connect the wheel. Tip, uninstall the previous Drivers and Control Panel, disconnect the wheel and restart your PC. But be careful, there are 2 drivers, one is for the PC/PS version and the other one is PC/Xbox. There is a new Update for the Drivers and new Firmware for the Wheel Base in the Thrustmaster Website, where you can download it. I tried many different settings, but it still felt off and was not fun at all. The wheel just didn't follow the rotation of the car, so you need it to "trow" the wheel and catch it somehow into a proper drift, which was really annoying. I tried in many games and feels great, except when you start drifting in some games like AC and Forza Horizon 5. I bought T248 almost a couple of weeks back.
